“Last Days!”
by Pastor Silas Doctor
“1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.”
2 Peter 2:1-10
We see so much evil and signs of the end times today. Many know it - but many don't believe it. We should be serving the Lord the best we can while we can - while we still have time!

“God is Unstoppable”
by Pastor Tom Hunter
“1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.
God can do anything. He can turn a tragedy into triumph for His kingdom. He can turn a maniac into a missionary for His glory. He is so amazing, graceious, merciful... and unstoppable.
Guest speaker Pastor Tom Hunter explores this in today’s message.
Notes & Quotes:
“Context is very important. And I read this little story not too long ago about context; had to do with an Amish man. The Amish man was in his buggy riding down the road and he got hit by a car. So he was going to take this man to court that hit him and he was going to sue him for $275,000. So they go to court one day and the lawyer says to the Amish man, 'Is it not true that the last thing you said to the police officer was 'I've never felt better in all my life.' And he said, 'Yes, sir, that's true but you've taken that out of context. You see when that police officer showed up and he went over there and he looked at my horse laying there on the ground and suffering like that and in all that pain - he pulled out his gun and shot my horse dead. Then he went over here and he looked at my dog - I had my dog with me - and he saw my dog over there and it was in suffering and pain and he shot my dog. Then he came over to me with his gun in hand and said, 'How you feeling, sir?' and I said, 'Oh! I never felt better in all my life.' So you can't take things out of context. Context is important."
"It isn't going to be long before we all check out. I preached a funeral the other day and I told a person - I said you go to the cemetery what you're going to see, you're going to see a lot of tombstones there. You're going to see a birth date on there. And then you'll see a little dash and then you'll see a death date. Because you have a birth date but you also have a death date. It's appointed unto man once to die... ...You know what little dash is in between? That's your life. That's how short life is. It is brief. And I'm going to tell you something - you better know that you're saved and you ought to serve God with your life. Amen? You got a short life - a little short race in this world."

“Something Special About Prayer”
by Pastor Silas Doctor
“1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
6 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.
7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
8 And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
9 And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.
10 When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.
11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
12 And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.
13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.
14 And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.
15 And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.
16 But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.
17 But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.
18 Now as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.
19 And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Judaea to Caesarea, and there abode.
20 And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country.
21 And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.
22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.
23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.
24 But the word of God grew and multiplied.
25 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.”
How do you pray? Does your faith in God give you peace that He will do as you ask, if it’s in His will?
The Bible gives us knowledge and wisdom about how we should pray, what’s effective in prayer, and what pleases God when we pray.
Pastor explores this in today’s message.
Notes & Quotes:
“It was a time of problems. The Jews hated the Christians.”
“If we’re willingly ignorant of things, we can face problems, too.”
“B-U-T: Better Understand This.”
“The prayer was amazing. It was made without ceasing.”
“It was a very sincere, effectual, fervent prayer.”
“We ought to pray for our personal family. We ought to pray for our church family…”
“You know some of these countries that are persecuting… Christianity is growing.”
“They were merely responsible to be found… faithful.”
“Success can’t be measured by numbers.”
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7

“What Will You Do With Wisdom?”
by Pastor Silas Doctor
“20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;”
The ignorance of God’s law is no excuse. God’s Word gives us right and wrong. Will you rely on God’s Word and His law? Or will you rely on your own sense of morality and righteousness?
What will you do with wisdom?
Pastor explores this in today’s message.
Notes & Quotes:
“You must repent and then by faith invite the Lord Jesus into your heart.”
“The second thing we have is the scorners: those living in sin, making fun of what is right.”
“The fools: those who have hardened their hearts against God and His wisdom.”
“God is extremely patient with man.”

“Charlie Kirk”
by Pastor Silas Doctor
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mark 8:34-38
What is our life? It is a vapor [James 4:14]. But Paul says in Philippians 1:21 that “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
Many death threats came to Charlie Kirk. Some sad, lost person this last week killed him. But for Charlie, he has gained.
Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior? Will you gain upon death?
Pastor explores this in today’s message.
Notes & Quotes:
“Because when a believer lays down his life, Christ is glorified.”
“It was his life and his work were rooted in Christ. satan doesn’t like that.”
“Charlie Kirk was the light shining in the darkness, unashamed of the gospel, unashamed of his Savior, Jesus Christ.”
"Charlie Kirk was a modern-day example of this light John spoke of. His life radiated the love of Christ—whether on a college campus in front of thousands of students or through millions of screens on social media. He handled the most controversial topics with grace, confronting error with facts and truth, all while being firmly grounded in Scripture and sound doctrine. Evil could not ignore that light. And it was evil—driven by the god of this world—that used a lost soul as a weapon to silence him. But here’s the truth: darkness cannot overcome the light." [source]
"I mean, I'm nothing without Jesus. I'm a sinner. I fall incredibly short of the glory of God. We all do. I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade, and it's the most important decision I've ever made, and everything I do incorporates Jesus Christ." [Charlie Kirk, 2024, during an interview with Russell Brand]
“Charlie’s faith was genuine in that you could see it manifest in action. And we know in the book of James it says that faith without works is dead. Charlie wasn't a person that just said he was a Christian. He acted and he worked and he raised his kids telling them about the Lord..." [source] ...his life was secured eternally by his Savior, Jesus Christ. This truth allowed Charlie to face every threat with courage because he didn't fear death.
“Jesus defeated death so you can live.”
There have been many who have faithfully spoken the
truth of Jesus Christ even unto their very last breath.
How will you stand in the face of evil? Are you willing to die for the Lord Jesus Christ?

“How will you meet Him!”
by Pastor Silas Doctor
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
How will you meet our Lord, Jesus?
Philip was scourged and put into prison and then crucified.
Paul was beheaded.
Matthew was slain with a sword.
James was beaten and then stoned to death.
Stephen was stoned to death, also.
Andrew was crucified.
Mark was dragged to death.
Peter was crucified upside down.
Jude was crucified.
Bartholomew was beaten and crucified.
Thomas was speared to death.
Luke was hanged.
Barnabas was stoned.
The only one of his disciples to die a natural death was the apostle John. He suffered a lot for the Lord.
They gladly died for Jesus. Would you? How will you meet Him one day? If you don't know if you will meet Him one day, we urge you to repent and call on the name of Jesus. Please. Your eternal resting place is a direct result of the decision you make.
Pastor explores this in today’s message.
Notes & Quotes:
“We ought to be serving Him the very best we can ... while we can."
"He gave me a song, and I penned it down" Along with preaching the Word of God , the Lord has given a music ministry also. He has enabled me to write and sing many songs for His glory. "And it's all about Jesus." - [Source: Brother Day's website]

Guest speaker Brother Doug Day explores this in today’s message.
Notes & Quotes:
“We’re in a call to readiness, you know that? If you don’t know Jesus, you better get ready.”

“Sad to say not everyone’s going to get saved but you know what? We gotta tell ‘em.”
