“Blessed Thou Art”
by Pastor Silas Doctor
“1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”
God calls many people blessed. Jesus tells us some of these in today’s passage. Do you serve God with your life, your time, your body? Is your body a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God? [Romans 12:1]
Pastor shares some beatitudes regarding service in your church, your home, your life in today’s message.
Notes & Quotes:
“satan’s beatitudes:
Blessed are they who are too tired and busy to go to Church on Sundays and Wednesdays for they are my workers.
Blessed are they who are bored with the ministers' mannerisms and mistakes for they get nothing out of his sermon.
Blessed is the church member who expects to be invited to his own church for he is part of the problem instead of a solution.
Blessed are they who gossip for they cause strife and division that please me.
Blessed are they that are easily offended for they soon get angry and quit.
Blessed are they who do not give their tithes and offerings to carry on God's work for they are my best workers.
Blessed are they who profess to love God but hates his brother.
Blessed are the troublemakers for they shall be called the children of satan.
Blessed are the complainers for I am all ears to them."
“This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.”
“What excuse has God given you to miss church?”
“And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” Acts 9:4
“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come,
see the place where the Lord lay.” Matthew 28:6

“He. Is. Risen.”
by Pastor Silas Doctor
“26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.
28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.”
The King of glory died on the cross. He took the burden of sin on Himself to save you. You. Were. On. His. Mind.
Pastor explores the miraculous bodily resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in today’s message.
Notes & Quotes:
"That as the death of the cross was a Roman punishment, so it was the manner of the Romans to scourge and whip them and then deliver them to be crucified."
“When Jesus therefore had received
the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he
bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:30
Jesus is coming soon... are you ready?
“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them:
for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him
are called, and chosen, and faithful.” Revelation 17:14
“And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion
of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof.” - Revelation 5:5

“Bible Mysteries"
by Pastor Silas Doctor
“23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.”
Jesus is coming soon. The events, industries, and news of today correlate with Biblical revelations and prophecy.
Are we the last generation?
Pastor explores this in today’s message.
Notes & Quotes:
“All through scripture, God gives us mysteries. Prophecies for us to figure out.”
“I believe the Lord could come back soon. Real, real soon.”
“The people who don’t want to follow him [the antichrist] will be persecuted.”
“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” - John 1:5
Due to an emergent surgery, the following week was delayed in being updated:
“In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.”

“Storms in Our Life”
by Pastor Silas Doctor
"1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:“
There are many, many storms in our lives. Sickness, troubles, financial situations, even literal storms, like we've had recently here in Northern Michigan.
Do you waver in your faith during the hard times in life? Does it increase your faith? Our text today states, "For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. [Verse 6b]
Noah, through the literal flood, was safely delivered. Would going through that be scary and trying? Yes, of course it would. But his faith in God was what he leaned on through those storms.
Pastor explores this in today’s message.
Notes & Quotes:
“Storms of life come and go; through the flood, His love will show."
"It had to be terrible, losing everything you had - but he [Job] was still faithful."
“NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path.” Psalms 119:105
