About Jordan Valley Baptist Church

Our Purpose

It is our purpose to help people build better lives that will honour and glorify God, and to see them grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through:

History of Jordan Valley Baptist Church

Founded in November of 2009 by Pastor Silas and Mary Doctor, Jordan Valley Baptist Church is an Independent, Fundamental, Bible-believing church. Started in the old Dura building, they were able to purchase 457 Water Street in East Jordan for their new building in 2012. On November 5th, 2013, Pastor received a call in the middle of the night - the church was on fire, a total loss. For almost two years, the church met back in the old Dura building. In April of 2014 they purchased the Petrie Construction building and through a lot of work they made it into the church we have today, having the first service at 909 Water Street in September of 2015.

Who We Are

Our church foundation is that on the truth of Jesus Christ and His saving grace. We are an Independent, Fundamental, KJV Bible-believing church. Our members are born-again Christians who believe that Jesus' Holy blood was shed for their sins, has paid their sin debt, and who wish to fellowship with other believers as we are called to by the Bible - in exhortation, edification, and comforting each other in the love and grace given to us by Jesus Christ.
