The Rapture of the Church

Folks, I am sharing some thoughts on what the Bible has been warning us about for many years that would happen some day! I believe that time is VERY near!
The next Scriptural event that will soon happen is the Rapture of the Church, which means those that are truly born-again, saved believers will be caught up and meet Jesus!
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (those that were born-again, but had died), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain (again, just saved folks) shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Many will say that will never happen and you are a fool for believing that. That reminds me of this passage in the Bible.
2 Peter 3:3-5
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God...these things will happen!
God used Noah to build the ark and preach for 120 years that God was going to destroy the whole earth by flooding it! They mocked him and didn’t believe it, but it happened and they were destroyed!
Matthew 24:37-42
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
For 120 years Noah preached and warned, but they didn’t believe! Folks, we have had thousands of years of warnings in the Bible that it will happen, but most still don’t believe it will happen or that it won’t happen soon! They are willingly ignorant!
Please, don’t ignore God’s warnings! If you look around and see all that is happening in the world, our country that His Word said would happen in the last days...it’s here! Call me if you want to talk about this, feel free to do so...231-350-8301.
You may be thinking or saying, "OK, what can I do to be ready if this does happen?"
God made it so simple that even a child can do it! It has NOTHING to do with religion or denomination or good works! You have to be saved/born-again to enter into Heaven!
You can’t be good enough nor can someone buy you or pray you out of Hell! It has all to do with repentance and faith in what Jesus did for you when He suffered, bled and died to pay your sin debt! Then we by faith in that, invite Him into our heart to save our soul!
2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
If you believe this and want to be saved, and let Him change your life, simply pray a prayer like this... "Dear Lord, thank you for dying for me and paying my sin debt. I am sorry for all my sins...please come into my heart and save my soul so I can spend eternity in Heaven with you!"
If you really mean it, He will save your soul and when the Rapture happens you won’t be left behind to suffer forever!
